Beverly Hills Surgeon Turns Fat From Liposuction into Diesel Fuel For His Car - Some people enjoyed eating their french fries and may have helped save the planet. A California doctor is alleged to have turned human fat, obtained from liposuction, into bio-diesel fuel to power his SUV and his girlfriend's car. I have not personally read the California law, but several publications claim that it's illegal under California law to use human medical waste to create fuel to power cars. An attorney who is representing some of the doctor's patients filed a medical malpractice lawsuit claiming that the doctor removed too much fat causing disfiguring injuries. I wonder if the patients who paid for liposuction received a discount or at least a free tank of gas.
