This drunk driver called the cops on himself! He called 911 to say he
wasn't safe to drive. like the judge, he doesn't know how to keep quiet.
He should have parked and went to sleep. At least he has much better
morals than the judge.
One man videotaping another man videotaping a DUI arrest -
this is a video of an improper police arrest of a man videotaping a DUI arrest. There
seems to be some discussion with the police about whether he was standing on his
own property, however, there is no requirement that he be confined to his
property. He clearly was not interfering with a police investigation or
arrest. He he was simply videotaping the arrest. Apparently the
police officers did not like that and violated his constitutional rights when
they assaulted him like tackling him to the ground and arrested him. This
type of police behavior is an embarrassment.
- Birmingham, Alabama. Patsy
Hamaker must have been on her way home to make hay when she had a car accident
because she was drunk. She blamed it on her "employer" and filed suit.
(I will use the term employer here while that is technically incorrect because
strippers/dancers are usually independent contractors.) It may sound crazy
at first, but it does make sense. Patsy is a dancer/stripper at a club
called The Furnace and claims that part of her job is to encourage customers to
buy her alcoholic drinks; therefore her employer (the club) had knowledge that
she was drunk when she left work to drive home; and allowed her to leave and a
drunk state while she was still under their supervision and control.
Having represented several dancers/strippers and even some friends who are
dancers/strippers, I know that they are all pushed to encourage customers to
find them alcoholic drinks. While they usually do not drink the entire
glass and sometimes drink a non-alcoholic drink, with so many alcoholic drinks
during the day, even a tiny amount of alcohol builds up at the end of the day to
substantially and legally impair someone from driving.
DUI strip search - This drunk driver may be a stripper, but not by choice
and instead of making money as a stripper, it will only cost him.
Auto: DUI - A comparison of playing Grand Theft Auto while sober, drunk,
drunker, and plastered with 8 drinks. Does Grand Theft Auto teach or
encourage people to drive drunk? Owen Good says no!
